Thor: Ragnarok
General audiences have yet to receive new alien case Korg and Miek inThor : Ragnarok , but when they do it ’ll represent only the beginning of their journeying . In bringing a thirdThorfilm to the big screen , Marvel Studios paired the God of Thunder up with the light-green giant to adapt one of Hulk ’s most illustrious storylines . WhileRagnarokis still very much Thor ’s movie , it will dive into the Planet Hulk history from the comics . In Marvel Comics , this narrative followed Hulk after having been relegate to a far away planet by the Illuminati - a secretive group of top Marvel heroes - where he becomes a prisoner storm to fight others in a gladiator arena , before leading a rebellion and predominate himself .
Thor : Ragnarokdoesn’t touch all of these story beats , instead using it for divine guidance and bringing in key conversant elements . Two of the more celebrated pieces for fan are the inclusions of Korg and Miek - two of the other gladiator Hulk befriend . And the good newsworthiness here is that the movie is apparently only the first of ( potentially ) many MCU appearances for Korg and Miek .

Fandangoasked Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige aboutRagnarok ’s two scene - stealing characters and what the future guard for them . Considering how successful Waititi ’s previousThorshorts were , it would not be surprising to see Marvel Studios countenance a comedic whiz like Waititi to bring back the One - Shots for something like this . Plus , they would call for him to be require in some mental ability as he is the voice . Even if their return does n’t come in the figure of a One - Shot , they clearly have a future in the MCU - and that could mean great thing for Waititi deposit around as well . As he drop dead on to point out , the actorTaika Waititi does not work without music director Taika Waititiand Feige told us straight that he’sconfident he ’ll be working with Taika again .
