I think every [ MCU ] movie is important , and the most important matter is a gravid flick . [ … ] So there ’s nothing better for a cinematic universe than a smashing flick coming out . The before and after ? I think a lot of people talk about the R - rating - ' Is every [ wonder ] film going to be R - rated after this ? ' Of course not . Even though mutant are becoming a bigger part of the MCU , it beg the question whetherX - Menis one of the films that may set down a slot in Phase 6 . It ’s cardinal to think of that Marvel Studios has n’t announced all of their projects yet for Phase 6 , which could have in mind something adept forX - Men .
However , it would n’t be shocking if theX - Menreboot does n’t pass until Phase 7 , with many speculating that the next saga will be The Mutant Saga for the MCU . SinceAvengers : Secret Warsis bruit to lead to a soft reboot of the MCU , savingX - Menuntil afterThe Multiverse Sagamight be the wiser choice . With that in mind , the MCU could still implant the seeds for some of the iconic ten - Men graphic symbol throughout the rest of Phases 5 and 6 before they headline theX - Menreboot .
SinceMarvel Studios is confirm to hang San Diego Comic - Con 2024 , Feige may put up some more updates on theX - Menmovie during the Hall H display . While the focus will in spades be on Phase 5 , and most likely Phase 6 , it would be shocking not to hear Feige wreak up the X - Men in one way or another . For now , the MCU interview can get its X - Men fix inDeadpool & Wolverine , unfold in theater this calendar week .
