One of the top moments of the moving picture is the last conflict , with Led Zeppelin ’s “ Immigrant Song ” blasting in the background – a detail that kick upstairs the fight , making it unforgettable . The song was also featured in the trailers , and it ’s all because it was part of the film from the very beginning , as Waititiused the track for his lurch meeting sizzle reel . While buff reacted positively to the manipulation of Zeppelin ’s song , there ’s one person who is not ok with its use : Jack Black .
Through hisofficial Instagramaccount , Jack Black called out Thor ’s modish film for using “ Immigrant Song ” – a track that was also used in Richard Linklater’sSchool of Rock , starring Jack Black , in a panorama where Black ’s character is driving with his educatee and rocking to Zeppelin ’s hitting . Black explained that this was the “ raddest part of the movie ” and challenged Thor and company to a “ Battle of the Jams ” . Check it out below .

Black is currently filmingThe House with a Clock in its Walls , alongsideThor : Ragnarokstar Cate Blanchett , and under the direction of Eli Roth . Black seized the chance of having Hela herself on set and partake in a video enacting a slow - movement fight scene as “ Immigrant birdcall ” plays in the background , with limited appearances by Eli Roth and Owen Vaccaro .

Taikia Waititihas already respondedto the challenge on Twitter , throw all the obligation to Thor himself , Chris Hemsworth , as Black “ clearly said Thor ” . Hopefully Hemsworth will respond to the challenge , with Waititi also participating – after all , it was thanks to him that Zeppelin ’s Sung dynasty made it into the film .
