I did n’t pay the most attention to it because I was very , very invested in my character . I had a wonderful character to play that I sleep together so much and was so ample and there was so much to research . I know the committal to writing . The character never once barricade feeding me , and I never stopped working on the character right-hand to the very end , even with thing that people were surprised by , like when Brienne smiled when she was knighted . That made double-dyed sense to me that she had n’t really smile . This is the time she smile , because she get the thing she want in a very internal and special way .

Asdivisive asGame of Thronesseason 8 remain , Brienne ’s satisfying arc stay a highlight . Brienne had always wanted to be a knight and was ineffective to become one because of the patriarchal fellowship she populate in , the irony being that she was systematically more good than most of the men who were dub . Receiving the title of respect befitting of her many admirable traits and deeds throughout the serial publication andseeing Brienne at last getting dub was deeply moving , as was her rarified smile , while her Friend and allies clapped with genuine felicity for her .
Game of Thrones cut Lady Stoneheart , the reanimated form of Catelyn Stark , but still bring out her next story in the A Song Of Ice & Fire volume .
This development was also meaningful because Jaime Lannister was the one to knight her . Becoming the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard in the serial finale was also perfect , an excellent way to follow up on Brienne being knighted and resolve her story . Brienne ’s prima character continue one of the best part ofGame of Thrones ' controversial termination .
