ThroughoutFuturama ’s 12 seasons , there have been all kinds of unlike versions of Bender , with his family members and alternate - universe depictions being litter throughout the show . While these Bender variants seldom re-emerge after their debut episodes , Futuramaseason 12has finally referenced two of them for the first prison term in years .
Futuramaseason 12 , episode 1 , " The One Amigo " kicks off the new season with a Bender - centrical episode , followingBender as he cut through down his origins in Mexicoin parliamentary procedure to encounter more of his family . The plastic film sheds some light on Bender ’s relatives , with the installment playact as a celebration of the character ’s history . Interestingly , the episode sport a point of reference to two Bender variantsfrom some of my favoriteFuturamastories , and I could n’t be happier to see the show lastly give them a nod .
The legendary sci - fi comedy cartoon Futurama has continued to be popular after being revive in 2023 , and it has already been renewed for more .

Futurama Season 12, Episode 1 Brings Back Universe 1 Bender & Titanius Anglesmith
For The First Time In Years
Although they do n’t truly appear in the episode , Futuramaseason 12 , episode 1 sport an Easter eggthat brings back Universe 1 Bender and Titanius Anglesmith , two of my preferent versions of Bender . In the sequence , Bender decides to betray NFTs of his likeness , with him wearing various costumes while photographing himself to produce the line of NFTs .
While many of these Bender NFTs are seemingly random costumes , two of them are unmediated quotation to these dear Bender variants . In one NFT , Bender ’s metal plating turns to Au , with this being the same face as thegolden Universe 1 Bender from the episode " The Farnsworth Parabox . “In another NFT , Bender is dress up as a chivalric knight , with this being the exact same look as Bender ’s Dungeons & Dragons character Titanius Anglesmith from theFuturamamovieBender ’s Game .
Bender ’s Gamewas break up and aired as disjoined sequence ofFuturama .

“The One Amigo” Was The Perfect Time To Bring Back These Classic Bender Variants
It Would’ve Been A Shame If Futurama Missed This Opportunity
Of all the times thatFuturamacould have brought back these Bender chance variable , " The One Amigo " was the perfect option . The episode is all about Bender wanting to find his class members to prove his uniqueness , with this being a response to his similitude being sell as an NFT . So , including these two singular Bender variants highlights just how outstanding thePlanet Express bunch ’s Benderis .
Although I do roll in the hay these two version of Bender , " The One Amigo " did leave out the chance to fetch back several Bender clon . For example , the belovedFuturamavillain Flexo could have returned in this installment , or at least been computer address . While I do still miss these other Bender associates , it is at least nice forFuturamaseason 12 to convey these characters back .
