I Believe Freddy is Ready to Be the DC Universe’s Shazam Again
What I appreciated about this issue was that it does n’t shy off from the negatively charged feelings Freddy has about losing his powers . Despite his words otherwise , it ’s cleared that Freddy lose having powers . I mean , who would n’t drop it ? But for Freddy , it ’s not just about the powers . It ’s about being knowing who he is and where he belong . Freddy has a truly heroic life within him , but he just does n’t have the physical trait or special abilitiesto do the things that Shazam or Mary Marvel can do .
… I do think now ’s the best time to maybe bring Freddy back in as a submarine sandwich .
Despite his limitations , that does n’t intercept Freddy from doing the right matter . Just a few issues ago , we saw him take a chance his life and intimately doss his van to hold on a monster intrusion . And in this result , he stays behind on a runaway train ( literally searching ‘ how to drive railroad train ’ on the internet ) to prevent people from getting killed . He does n’t have the Wizard ’s magic anymore , but damn if he does n’t still act like he was still a virtuoso . view everything happening with Billy properly now , possibly it ’s meter Freddy fix another chance at being Shazam .
Billy and his alter ego , the Captain , are n’t on beneficial full term right on now .
